    The son of the most successful coach in college basketball history has quit his own coaching role at Louisiana Tech after admitting having an inappropriate relationship, reportedly with a player.

    Tyler Summitt, the 25-year-old son of Pat Summit, resigned as the women's basketball coach at the college during his first season in charge.

    Summit married his high school sweetheart almost three years ago and a year later he was hired by Louisiana Tech as their assistant coach.
