The well-known Indian dancer Shakti Mohan often works as a coach on dancing reality shows, such as Dancing with the Stars. Her siblings, Mukti and Neeti Mohan, are both well-known dancers in their own right. Shakti Mohan was the champion of the Dance India Dance Season 2 competition in 2009-2010. She was nominated for the Best Dancing Jodi award with Kunwar Amar. She was also cast as a main actor from one of the dance movies, which was directed by Shakti. She appeared in numerous of cinema songs, like Aa Re Pritam Pyare, Tequila Wakila, and many others, in which she had cameos. Magenta Riddim, one of her video songs, has also gained a lot of popularity on the internet, particularly on YouTube.

Her debut song in Bollywood as a choreographer is "Nainowale Ne," which appears in the film Padmaavat. She has her own dancing company, which she calls Nritya Shakti.
